Heidi Gammon started her hairdressing career as a Saturday girl at a salon called Fish in Maidstone. She then moved on to Vidal Sassoon to train under Annie Humphies, where she worked her way up to Assistant Head of colour. Here, Heidi worked under Josh Wood and then went on to teach in the schools and academies taking her abroad in Germany and to the States. Whilst at Sassoon's she also attended to many celebrities including Mel B and Andrea Corr.

Heidi has been head hunted many times, the first being by Paul Edmonds for his Knightsbridge salon to run his colour department before moving to Sanrizz and working on shows in Italy and Germany.

Whilst at Sanrizz she was head hunted again by Aveda, and went on to work in their Flagship store in High Holben, and gained experience with their natural colour range.

She then decided she wanted to work with Josh Wood in his Chelsea salon, Real in 2003 where she has recently returned from New York working on a Wella shoot with Josh and Eugene Soloman.
